The AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum (50ml) is NPR 2,200, down from NPR 2,300. It is built on 5% niacinamide with plant-derived squalane. It is aimed at dark spots and uneven tone. Do not expect marks to disappear in two weeks, and wear sunscreen in the morning or the effort is wasted. medicube
The medicube PDRN Pink Tone Up Sun Cream (50ml) is NPR 2,300, down from NPR 2,500. It is SPF50+ PA++++ with a light pink tint and no white cast. It contains niacinamide, PDRN and hyaluronic acid. The tone up effect is subtle. If you want real coverage, this is not that. If you want sunscreen that does not leave a grey face in photos, it is a good option. I'm from
The I'm From Rice Toner is NPR 2,990, down from NPR 3,500. It has 77.78% rice extract and niacinamide, and the texture is milky, not watery. That makes it a better pick for dry and normal skin in a Kathmandu winter than for oily skin in the monsoon. If your face is shiny by noon, a lighter toner will feel better. If your skin is dry and dull in January, this one makes sense. It is also vegan and fragrance-free.
KSECRET
The KSECRET SEOUL 1988 Retinal Liposome 2% Serum with Black Ginseng (30ml) is NPR 2,800, down from NPR 3,200. Retinal is a strong ingredient, so be careful. Do a patch test, start two nights a week, and use sunscreen every morning. If you are pregnant or planning to be, ask a doctor before using any retinoid. This is not a first product for someone with a basic routine. Get a cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen sorted first.
Fairy Skin
The Fairy Skin Premium Tinted Sunscreen SPF50 is NPR 1,400. It has a universal tint. A tinted sunscreen is useful in Nepal because many people skip sunscreen when it leaves a pale cast on brown skin. Test the tint on your jaw before using it on your whole face. We have less detail on this product than on the others, so read the product page before you decide.
La Roche-Posay
The La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Oil Control Fluid SPF50+ (50ml) is NPR 3,990, down from NPR 4,500. It uses Mexoryl 400 for UVA protection and has a matte, non-greasy finish. It costs more than the Korean sunscreens here. For oily skin in humid weather it is worth it. For dry skin it is not, since the matte finish can feel drying in winter. Strong UV in the Valley makes a good sunscreen the best money you spend on skin.
Kérastase
The Kérastase Genesis Anti Hair-Fall Fortifying Serum with Aminexil (90ml) is out of stock right now, so there is no price to give you. It is a silicone-free scalp serum with 1.5% Aminexil. Open the product page for the current stock. If you see it sold elsewhere at a very low price, be careful, because hair care is faked too.
