The Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
This is the famous one. It is a 96% snail mucin essence in a 100ml bottle, used for hydration and a smoother, softer feel. You put it on after cleansing and before your cream. A small amount pressed into the skin is enough. More does not give more.
Who should buy it? Dry and normal skin will probably like it most. Combination skin is fine too. If your skin is very oily, it may feel tacky in the humid monsoon, and you might use less. The Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser
The gel cleanser has 10,000 ppm of snail mucin and is meant for gentle daily cleansing. It is listed for pore care, hydration and sensitive skin concerns. For NPR 2,300, it is a sensible morning cleanser. A gel cleanser is not enough for removing sunscreen at night by itself, though. If you wear SPF daily, use an oil cleanser first and then this one. It is a decent choice for the dry Kathmandu winter, when harsh foams leave your face tight, and also for monsoon mornings when you only need a quick wash.
Why prices for the same product can differ
I will not tell you what other shops charge, since I cannot check that for you. But I can tell you what a price gap usually means. A seller may have a longer supply chain with more costs in it. Stock may be older or bought in bulk. Or the product may not be real. The first two are not a problem for you. The third one is.
