There are many places to buy Korean skincare in Kathmandu now. Some are good shops. Some are social media pages that sell fakes or old stock. This post helps you choose.
Places people buy from
- Online shops with their own website, like ours. You can read product details and see the price before you order.
- Physical beauty shops. Good if you want to see the box and talk to someone.
- Instagram and Facebook sellers. Some are honest, but it is the hardest to check.
- Friends and family bringing it from abroad. Usually real, but check the date.
None of these is always safe or always bad. What matters is how you check.
Questions to ask any seller
- Where do you buy the products from? A real shop can answer this.
- Can you send a clear photo of the batch code and the expiry date?
- What happens if I get a fake? Is there a refund or a replacement?
- Do you have a real shop address or a registered business name?
If a seller gets angry or does not reply, that tells you something.
Check the product yourself
Before you use it:
- Look at the print. Blurry text, bad spelling or crooked labels are warning signs.
- Find the batch code and expiry date. Both should be clear.
- Compare the box and bottle with the photos on the brand's own website.
- Smell and feel it. If it is very different from what reviews say, do not put it on your face.

If one shop sells a product for far less than all the others, think about why. It can be old stock, a fake, or a product with a missing seal. A small discount is normal. A huge one is a warning.
