Three sunscreens, so which one
This is the real question, because the three sunscreens are close in price and easy to mix up. My short answer is below.
The Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen (NPR 2,700) is the plain everyday one. It is SPF50+ PA++++ with birch sap, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, and it is meant to leave no white cast. If you have never used a Korean sunscreen, start here. It suits dry, normal and combination skin well. If your skin is very oily, the moisturising finish may feel like too much in the monsoon, and I would look at a lighter fluid instead.
The Mois Toneup Sun (NPR 2,500) has the same base idea but with a pink tone up. The UV filter is titanium dioxide, and it gives a soft brightening look on the face. Buy it if you like a little colour correction and do not want to wear makeup every day. If you do not care about tone up, the plain Birch Juice one is simpler.
The Mild Up Sunscreen (NPR 2,650) is the mineral one, with zinc oxide, birch sap and water lily extract. It is SPF50+ PA++++ and the brand says it is good for sensitive skin. Some people with reactive skin prefer mineral filters, and this is the one to try then. Mineral sunscreens can look slightly pale on deeper skin tones, so test it on your jaw in daylight first. It is also listed as reef-safe, which matters less in Nepal than on a beach holiday, but it is there.

The hand cream is the cheap surprise
At NPR 900, the Birch Juice Hand Cream is the easiest product on this list to say yes to. It has ceramides, shea butter, squalane and three kinds of hyaluronic acid. Kathmandu winters are dry and dusty, and hands get cracked fast. It is not greasy, so you can use it at your desk. It is only 30ml, so keep it in your bag and use it after washing your hands. Dry skin on the hands is the main use here. It does not replace a face moisturiser.
How much sunscreen, how often
A sunscreen only works if you use enough. Put it on as the last step of your morning routine, and put it on again if you are outside for hours or sweating a lot. Which ROUND LAB sunscreen is best for oily skin in the monsoon?
None of the three is made specially for oily skin. The Mois Toneup Sun and the Mild Up are lighter choices than a rich cream, but if you are very oily, test one in the shop or start with a small amount and see how it feels by afternoon.
Is ROUND LAB sunscreen good for sensitive skin?
The Mild Up is the mineral option and is described as suitable for sensitive skin. Still, do a patch test first, because any product can irritate any skin.
Will these sunscreens leave a white cast?
